This character was specifically designed for a Game Character Development module that I facilitated, with a primary focus on Rigging and Weight Painting. The intention behind the character's design was to create a visually compelling model that incorporated both exposed flesh and clothing elements. This deliberate choice aimed to enable the students to gain a thorough understanding of effectively painting the weight influences on such a character. It was gratifying to witness the students' enthusiastic response upon being introduced to this character. While the name may appear simplistic, it holds sentimental value as it harks back to my childhood when I owned an inflatable green alien that I affectionately referred to as "Dude."
